Extra 0.5kg of Speckle Park

Best beef ever! Speckle park beef is the most tener a flavorsome meat available and Hill country have treated it with the respect it deserves with fantastic butchering an packaging. Both fast an slow cooking cuts are as good as each other our box didn’t last long in our house. Highly recommend ?

I had a lovely time working with Hill Country Farms on this website and particularly enjoyed trying the beef box itself. The steaks were all beautifully tender while still being flavorsome. The sausages were genuinely probably the best I have ever had. I am looking forward to trying some of the slow cooker cuts. Can’t wait for them to start bringing in some orders that I know everyone will enjoy!

We particularly enjoyed some of the slow cook cuts, like short ribs and brisket,which we would not normally buy. They were delicious and tender. The sausages were some of the best I have ever eaten. We will definitely be ordering again.

After my purchased order of the 8kg Speckle Park beef pack, I would like to make a few comments for intended buyers and suppliers.

Having had 35 years in the meat industry, I feel quite at ease to make these comments and make some comparisons with other breeds of cattle I have had extensive experience with.

I have had the privilege to inspect Speckle Park as the carcasses were processed and the stand out feature was the internal “ marbling of fat” through out the carcasses. (- this to me suggested that during the cooking process, fat content would exude and enhance the flavour ( and it certainly did so!)

We have at this point eaten steaks, sausages and mince and found it all delightful, and extremely good value. This is a quality purchase and I would certainly recommend it for intended buyers.
